Wytheville Community College (WCC) recently recognized Kelli Musick, WCC Associate Professor of Administrative Support Technology (AST), with the 2020 WCC Improvement of Instruction Award.

The Wytheville Community College Board will meet on Thursday, March 5, 2020, at 6 p.m. for its regular session. The meeting will be held on WCC’s Wytheville campus at 1000 East Main Street, Wytheville, Virginia, in Galax Hall, rooms 201 and 202, and is open to the public.

The Wytheville Community College (WCC) Forensics Team recently participated in the Collegiate Forensics Association (CFA) Southern Excursion tournament held in Gastonia, N.C. 

Wytheville Community College’s (WCC’s) Summit Center location in Marion at the Henderson offers Smyth County residents the opportunity to take classes and access college resources close to home.

On December 3, representatives from Wytheville Community College (WCC) and Bluefield College (BC) signed the “Return to Roots Teaching Initiative” that is designed to help meet the demand for teachers in the region.

Physical endurance, strength, and preparation were certainly necessary for hike up Mount Olympus completed by WCC math professor, Jason Lachniet, this summer.

Thanks to the generous support of students, alumni and community members, Wytheville Community College Bookstore has successfully met the $1,000 matching challenge from Follett Higher Education Group. The donations will help provide additional support for the campus food pantry.
