The Wytheville Community College Choir will perform two holiday concerts this December, the first in-person performances since 2019.

Wytheville Community College (WCC) recently celebrated two groups of power line workers in graduation ceremonies. More than 150 people, including family and friends of graduates, attended each ceremony in Snyder Auditorium in WCC's Grayson Hall.     

Transfer Virginia is a new web portal designed to help Virginia college students with the college transfer process and to create consistency in the content of required courses for all public and some private Virginia colleges. 

The Wytheville Community College Board will meet on Monday, October 17, 2022, at 4:30 p.m. for new board member orientation. 

The Wytheville Concert series begins Saturday, October 8, 2022, and is back for a full season of performances. Admission is free, but donations will be accepted to support the Wytheville Concert Series and the Wytheville Community College Food Bank.

A genealogical article written by William A. "Bill" Veselik, Archivist for the F.B. Kegley Library at Wytheville Community College, has been published in the September issue of Stirpes, the Journal of the Texas State Genealogical Society. 

The Wytheville Concert Series is back for a full season of performances running from October 2022 through April 2023 featuring Beethoven's most beloved piano trios, the "Archduke" and "Ghost," and a recital of Bach's famous works for solo violin on period instruments and bows. 

The Wytheville Community College Board will meet on Thursday, September 15, at 6:30 p.m. for its regular session. 

Improved Web Portal Will Help VCCS Students Who Aim to Transfer to Four-Year Institutions

Wytheville Community College (WCC) recently awarded Mr. Joe McKnight with the 2022 Outstanding Adjunct Faculty Member of the Year Award. McKnight has been an adjunct faculty member and laboratory assistant in the Machine Technology Program at WCC since 2009.

On Monday, August 8, 2022, hundreds of educators from Wythe County Public Schools (WCPS) attended the EduPrep conference held at Wytheville Community College (WCC).

     Wytheville Community College (WCC) recognized Heather Lowe with the 2022 WCC Improvement of Instruction Award. Lowe joined the WCC faculty in 2021 as Assistant Professor of Mathematics.
