WCC Names Joe McKnight Adjunct Instructor of the Year
Wytheville Community College (WCC) recently awarded Mr. Joe McKnight with the 2022 Outstanding Adjunct Faculty Member of the Year Award. McKnight has been an adjunct faculty member and laboratory assistant in the Machine Technology Program at WCC since 2009.

Continues the study of Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW), wire feed welding, Metal Inert Gas (MIG) using spray transfer, pulsed GMAW, short circuit transfer, and flux cored wire on various metals and joint designs. Focuses on developing GMAW skills with practice and instruction in these advanced processes.
