The Nominating Committee of the Wytheville Community College Board will meet on Monday, May 18, 2026, at 1:15 p.m. on WCC’s Wytheville campus at 1000 East Main Street, Wytheville, Virginia to discuss the slate of officers for 2026-2027. The meeting will be held in the President’s Conference Room located in Bland Hall, Room 238. This is an open meeting; however, the Committee will not receive public comments.
The Wytheville Community College Board President’s Evaluation Committee will meet on Monday, May 18, 2026, at 1:30 p.m. on WCC’s Wytheville campus at 1000 East Main Street, Wytheville, Virginia. The meeting will be held in the President’s Conference Room located in Bland Hall, Room 238. The meeting will enter into closed session pursuant to section 2.23711(A)(1) of the code of Virginia to discuss personnel matters relating to the WCC President’s evaluation.
Wytheville Community College is a two-year comprehensive community college serving residents of the counties of Bland, Carroll, Grayson, Smyth (Marion and eastward), Wythe, and the City of Galax. The college, one of 23 in the Virginia Community College System, operates under policies established by the State Board for Community Colleges, and the Wytheville Community College Board. The college is financed primarily with state funds supplemented by contributions from the participating localities.
