Wytheville Community College (WCC) Theatre Department invites the community to experience the magic of Almost, Maine, a romantic comedy by John Cariani, directed by Robert Burnett.

Performances will take place on October 31, November 1, 7, and 8 at 7:00 p.m. in Snyder Auditorium, located in Grayson Hall on WCC’s Wytheville Campus. Set in a remote, mythical almost-town that’s “so far north, it’s almost not in the United States,” Almost, Maine captures a series of charming, funny, and heartfelt moments as the residents find themselves falling in and out of love in unexpected ways. Under the glow of the northern lights, hearts are broken, mended, and transformed in this touching celebration of love in all its forms—new, old, lost, and found. “Almost, Maine offers a mix of humor and humanity that audiences instantly connect with,” said Director Robert Burnett. “It’s a feel-good production that reminds us all about the magic—and sometimes the mystery—of love.” Tickets are $8 for general admission, $7 for senior citizens and students (any age, any school), and free for WCC students with ID. Cash or check will be accepted (no credit or debit cards). Tickets may be purchased at the box office in the Johnson Lobby, adjacent to Snyder Auditorium, beginning 30 minutes prior to each performance.

To reserve tickets in advance, call 276-223-4795 or email wcctheatre@wcc.vccs.edu. Almost, Maine, written by John Cariani, is presented by special arrangement with Dramatists Play Service, Inc., New York.
