WCC announces Bluegrass & Old Time Jamboree 

Wytheville Community College (WCC) is pleased to announce its free monthly Bluegrass and Old-Time Jamboree! The jamboree will be held at 7 p.m. on Saturday, December 20, 2025, in the William F. Snyder Auditorium on the WCC campus located at 1000 East Main Street, Wytheville.

 Wayne Henderson & Friends deliver world-class bluegrass with the warmth and spirit of Southwest Virginia. Led by renowned luthier and guitarist Wayne Henderson, the group blends skilled musicianship, tight harmonies, and lively mountain energy for an unforgettable performance. 

The Whitetop Mountain Old Time Band brings authentic Appalachian old-time music to every stage. Known for their driving rhythms, soulful vocals, and deep regional roots, they create a fun, spirited atmosphere that gets every audience tapping their feet. 

Seating for the event is available on a first-come, first-served basis. The event is free and open to the public; however, donations will be accepted to help defray the travel expenses of the bands.
