Prerequisites NUR 106, NUR 161, NUR 135, NUR 218, NUR 221 and NUR 226. Corequisites NUR 222 and BIO 150 or permission of the instructor. Teaches principles of medication and administration which include dosage calculations, major drug classifications, drug legislation, legal aspects of medication administration, and drug action on specific body systems. Lecture 1 hours per week. May be offered as an online course.
