Continues the Virginia Office of Emergency Medical Services Intermediate and/or Paramedic curricula. Focuses on the assessment and management of specialty patients including obstetrical, neonates, pediatric, and geriatrics. Prerequisites include EMS 151 and EMS 153. Pre or corequisites include EMS 155. Lecture: 1 hour per week. Lab: 2 hours per week. Total 3 hours per week.
