Off-Campus Facilities
Wytheville Community College operates three education centers, which enhance the educational opportunities available through the college.
The Crossroads Institute is located at 1117 East Stuart Drive (Rt. 58) in Galax. The Institute, the result of much collaboration between numerous local organizations, opened in July of 2005. Crossroads, with its electronic and lecture classrooms, computer labs, and conference rooms, provides space for industrial training, community meetings, curricular classes, workshops, seminars, teleconferences, and more. Special programs available there include: LPN Programs, Construction Technologies and the Cisco Networking Academy. The WCC at the Henderson is located in downtown Marion at 203 N. Church Street about 30 miles south of Wytheville on Interstate 81. WCC at the Henderson and supports WCC curricular offerings, continuing education programs, and community service. Educational activities at the center include day and evening courses, business- and industry-related training, pre-employment training, seminars for small business owners, and personal development workshops. WCC West (Workforce, Education, Skills, Training) is located in the former Worldwide Ford building in downtown Marion, Virginia, about 30 miles south of Wytheville on Interstate 81, at 1520 North Main Street.
