Wytheville Community College (WCC) recently acknowledged the significant contributions and exemplary performance of administrative and professional faculty members at the college or throughout the Virginia Community College System (VCCS). Awards were presented during a college-wide Zoom meeting at the end of the Spring Semester.

Individuals who received awards were nominated by their peers and then selected by an ad-hoc committee for their respective award. The following administrative faculty members received awards:

Susan Haga, Project Director of Upward Bound – WCC Outstanding Administrative Faculty Award

The Outstanding Administrative Faculty award is given to a current administrative faculty member who exhibits exemplary performance, dedication, and commitment in two or more of the domains of: leadership skills, college, community service, non-routine and strategic responsibilities, customer service, and collegiality.

Roland Hall, Director of Workforce Development and Occupational Programs – WCC Outstanding Administrative Service Award

The Outstanding Administrative Service Award recognizes a current administrative faculty member who demonstrates exemplary performance, dedication, and commitment to the needs of students, faculty, staff, and community patrons.

Both recipients received a plaque and monetary award.
