Certification Options



Option #1 - required of all FT faculty

Tier 1 Certification - complete the four courses listed under Tier 1
Deadline for current FT faculty or new faculty hired before May 2017: May 2018
Deadline for FT faculty hired after May 2017: one calendar year or at a timeline agreed to by the faculty member and his/her Dean

Option #2 - required of all FT faculty

WCC Online Instructor Certification - complete all four courses in tier 1, two of the three courses in Tier 2, and two of the four courses in Tier 3 
Deadline for FT faculty hired before May 2017: May 2019
Deadline for FT faculty hired after May 2017: two calendar years after being hired or at a timeline agreed to by the faculty member and his/her Dean

Option #3

Master Online Certification - complete all eleven courses listed in the WCC4ME Professional Development Plan. Master Online Certification makes the faculty eligible to facilitate WCC4ME TOTAL courses
