WCC4ME Co-Chairs
The Co-Chairs provide leadership to support faculty and staff in the development and implementation of the QEP. The position establishes the framework and enacts the QEP to improve student learning and support per the goals of the plan and develops and executes the QEP program per the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) requirements and the College’s mission and vision.

WCC4ME Professional Development/WCC4ME Course
The WCC4ME Professional Development Subcommittee creates and implements a plan for professional development of faculty for online instruction. The program would initially be targeted for the faculty involved with the QEP but would be extended and required of all faculty teaching online or hybrid courses.

SDV Redesign and Implementation Subcommittee
The SDV Subcommittee develops and implements a redesign of the SDV 100 course to be incorporated into the QEP. The committee will also analyze feedback from the SDV redesign and make necessary adjustments moving forward.

WCC Online Course Rubric Subcommittee
This committee is charged with developing a rubric against which all WCC online courses will be measured. The rubric will be grounded in the researched best practices in online education emphasizing: strong and frequent methods of communication between professors and students, strong and frequent methods of communication from student/student, curriculum and assessment alignment, alternative methods of assessment, etc.

Assessment/Timeline Subcommittee
This committee is charged with reviewing the assessment plan submitted to SACSCOC in the QEP plan, making sure it is aligned with the changing projects goals and outcomes, collecting necessary data, and making necessary recommendations to close the assessment loop. This committee will also review and make edits to the proposed timeline in the QEP document to map out the project goals, over the five-year project timeline, now that the project has been approved and is moving forward.
