Organizational Philosophy |
Believing that families are the strength of a community, Wytheville Community College Child Development Center strives to offer services and programs to both children and adults that enable parents to pursue their goals in education, employment and service while remaining responsible in their family commitments. Parents involvement is an important part of our well-balanced family-oriented program. |

Goals |
- We shall provide quality care and development activities to children ages 2 months through 12 years enrolled in our program while making reasonable efforts to accommodate the hours needed by parents as they work or study.
- We shall provide programming and activities to promote family development and involvement.
- We shall offer services to all eligible families regardless of race, color, sex, religion, age, creed, disability, or national origin.
- We shall work to provide a lab site where Early Childhood Development students can have work experience and observation opportunities.
