Purpose: 

The Associate of Applied Science in Accounting is designed primarily for persons seeking full-time employment in the accounting field. Persons seeking their first employment in an accounting position and those seeking to upgrade their current position may benefit from this program.

Program Requirements: In addition to the admission requirements established for the college, entry into the Accounting program requires competency in English and Math Essentials MTE 1-3 as demonstrated through the placement and diagnostic tests, or by satisfactorily completing the required MTE units or equivalent.
