Wytheville Community College (WCC) recently acknowledged the significant contributions and exemplary performance of administrative and professional faculty members at the college or throughout the Virginia Community College System (VCCS). Awards are generally presented during a college-wide meeting at the end of the Spring Semester. Because of the current pandemic Dr. Dean Sprinkle, WCC President, contacted recipients to congratulate them on receiving awards.
Individuals who received awards were nominated by their peers and then selected by an ad-hoc committee for their respective award. The following administrative faculty members received awards:
Shawn McReynolds, WCC Director of Technology – WCC Outstanding Administrative Faculty Award
The Outstanding Administrative Faculty award is given to a current administrative faculty member who exhibits exemplary performance, dedication, and commitment in two or more of the domains of: leadership skills, college, community service, non-routine and strategic responsibilities, customer service, and collegiality.
Joshua Floyd, WCC Coordinator of Dual Enrollment – WCC Outstanding Administrative Service Award
The Outstanding Administrative Service Award recognizes a current administrative faculty member who demonstrates exemplary performance, dedication, and commitment to the needs of students, faculty, staff, and community patrons.
Malinda Eversole, WCC Director of Human Resources and Payroll Services – WCC Administrative Faculty Recognition Award
Susan Haga, WCC Coordinator and Project Director of Upward Bound – WCC Administrative Faculty Recognition Award
Leticia Maldonado, WCC Coordinator and Project Director of Educational Talent Search – WCC Administrative Faculty Recognition Award
Administrative Faculty Recognition Awards are given to administrative faculty members who exhibit outstanding contributions to the mission of the college.
Each recipient received a plaque or certificate and monetary award.
