Wytheville, Va. - The Roanoke Ballet Theatre will perform with the live accompaniment of the Rainer Trio on January 25, 2020, at 7:00 p.m. in the Snyder Auditorium on Wytheville Community College’s Wytheville Campus. The Ballet will feature new choreography to the tangos “The Four Season of Buenos Aires.” The ballet will consist of classical duos and trios with the colorful collaboration with music performed by the Rainer Trio. The performance is part of the 2019-20 Wytheville Concert Music Series.
Members of the Roanoke Ballet Theatre have extensive training and experience with the company, as well as with other companies and professionally dance at a variety of different levels. The company performs primarily main stage and in-studio in Roanoke with the occasional traveling collaborations throughout the Roanoke Valley and surrounding areas.
The Rainier Trio is an exciting and energetic group that captivates audiences with gems from the violin-viola-piano trio repertoire. The trio tours for the Virginia Commission for the Arts and has performed on numerous concert series throughout Virginia, Pennsylvania, Maryland, West Virginia and North Carolina.
Admission is free, but donations will be accepted to support the musicians and the Wytheville Community College Food Bank.

- Music for Cello and Piano performed by Julia Goudimova and Anna Billias on Saturday, February 29, at 7:00 p.m., at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Wytheville.
- Dvorak, Rachmaninoff, Massenet performed by the Rainier Trio on Saturday, April 4, at 7:00 p.m., in Snyder Auditorium on WCC’s Wytheville Campus.
Wytheville Concert Music Series performances are presented by Wytheville Community College, St. Paul United Methodist Church, St. John’s Episcopal Church, the WCC Educational Foundation, and MacDowell Music Club and are under the artistic direction of Kevin Matheson.
