Wytheville Community College is sponsoring a Free Community Movie Night featuring the dramatic comedy “Instant Family” on Wednesday, March 6, 2019. The movie will be shown in the Snyder Auditorium in Grayson Hall on WCC’s Wytheville campus. The movie begins at 6:30 p.m.

About the movie: Married couple Pete and Ellie Wagner, feeling a void in the marriage, visit a foster care center where two social workers, Karen and Sharon, guide the hopeful parents on the steps to becoming adoptive parents. Hesitant over raising a teenager the couple meets Lizzie, a teen that informs them that no one wants to adopt teens. Pete and Ellie talk to Karen and Sharon about taking in Lizzie and are told about her two younger siblings. The couple decides to go through foster care to prove to their family that they can be good parents. The film is rated “PG-13” and runs 1 hour 58 minutes. The movie stars Mark Wahlberg, Rose Bryne, and Octavia Spencer.
