Blackboard can be especially useful in your compressed video class. In these classes, there is often a lot of time spent moving materials from one course site to another. Also, it can be difficult for one site to communicate well with another. With Blackboard, you can post course materials to the site so that all students can get them in a timely manner. You can also use Blackboard to collect assignments, and even to administer exams. And you can encourage communication between the different sites with the discussion board.
