Editing an Announcement
To edit an announcement follow the steps outlined below:
- Log into Blackboard and select the course.
- Go to the course Control Panel.
- Click the Course Tools link.
- Click the Announcements link.
- In the upper right corner ensure that the Edit Mode is ON. If not click Off, to toggle it to ON.
- On the Announcement page, click on the down arrow, or chevron, next to the announcement that you want to modify. Click on Edit and then modify the announcement.
- Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click the Submit button.
- To remove an announcement, click on Delete from the menu and click OK in the pop-up box.
- To change the order of the announcements, click on the up/down arrow to the left of the announcement and then drag the content to the new location.
