How to Add an Announcement

Adding an Announcement
To create an announcement follow the steps outlined below:
- Log into Blackboard and select the course.
- Go to the course Control Panel.
- Click the Course Tools link.

- Click the Announcements link.

- In the upper right corner ensure that the Edit Mode is ON. If not click Off, to toggle it to ON.

- Click the Create Announcement button.

- Type the Announcement’s Subject and Message.

- Select availability and notification Options.

- To link a content area into the Announcement, click on the Browse button to select location in the course. Then click on the area to be linked. (Clicking on the + front of an item expands the item.)


- Click the Submit button
