Student Activities
The student activities program at Wytheville Community College is an important part of the total college experience, providing a variety of educational, cultural, and social activities for the entire college community. A number of activities are offered on campus to encourage student participation, including workshops, speakers, Howdy Week, Spring Fling Day, Fall Esprit Day, concerts, and plays.
The Office of Student Services assists students and faculty in the planning of events and in developing new student organizations. Every student organization is subject to recommendation by the Dean of Student Services and the approval of the President before it can be chartered and recognized as an official college activity. All student activities funds are recommended for distribution by the Dean’s approval. Each organization has membership open to the members of the student body unless otherwise stated.
