Dental Radiation Safety

3 sections will be added for Fall 2015 semester:

  1. Online portion begins 8/24 with clinical on 9/18

WELD 1005 / Fundamentals of Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW)

WELD 1005 is designed to provide a basic understanding of Gas Metal Arc Welding to those considering entering the welding profession and the new or novice welder. The course includes hands on training focused on developing fundamental welding skills. The 12-hour course meets two consecutive Fridays and covers safety, routine equipment maintenance, set-up and troubleshooting, fundamentals of different GMAW processes and applications, and weld quality. WELD 1020: GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding / Aluminum) Certification Training

WELD 1020 is designed as an industry welding training and certification course in an identified AWS welding process (AWS D1.2 Structural Welding Code-Aluminum). The 30-hour course covers safety, routine equipment maintenance, set-up and troubleshooting, fundamentals of the GMAW process and applications, specific hands-on training and certification preparation in the 1F/2F and 1G welding positions. The course concludes with AWS Certification testing. Previous welding experience recommended. For more inforamtion, click here for flyer with registration form on pg. 2.

American Heart Association Classes

Workforce Development at WCC is now offering First Aid and CPR classes to individuals and employers. We are currently offering NEW and RECERTIFICATION classes in each of the areas below. Click each
