As part of WCC’s ongoing 50th anniversary celebration, the college will present a special program on April 29 from 7 to 8 p.m. entitled “Master Gardening: Learning and Display Gardens.”
The lecture will be given by WCC faculty member Colene Kilgore and will be held in Room 118 Carroll Hall on the main WCC campus.
Kilgore’s lecture will review the two primary purposes of master gardening—Learning gardens and display gardens. She will also talk about proper planting techniques, proper pruning techniques, and proper prepping of plant material in the fall for overwintering and in early spring for the new growing season.
The event is free and open to the public.
