Wytheville Community College is currently providing three associate degrees and numerous certificates in the Administrative Support Technology Program. Registration is already underway for fall semester classes at the college. Classes begin August 25.
The Administrative Support Technology is a two-year degree that provides students with a working knowledge in any office environment. This program includes courses such as Keyboarding, Microsoft Office 2013, Accounting, Web Page Design, and Office Administration.
The Health Information Management Specialization is a two-year degree that provides students with experience working in a medical office setting. This program includes courses such as Microsoft Office 2013, Office Administration, Medical Terminology, Medical Transcription, and Medical Coding.
The Legal Assistant Specialization, a two-year degree program, provides students experience working in a legal office setting. This program includes courses such as Microsoft Office 2013, Office Administration, Legal Transcription, and several Legal Specialization Courses.
Along with these two-year degrees in Administrative Support Technology, WCC also offers certificates in Clerical Studies, Medical Coding, Medical Transcription, Medical Office Clerk, Medical Records Clerk, and Legal Assisting.
